Tisch New Theatre is seeking motivated NYU students to join our team for the fall production. All levels of experience are welcome.
Our mission is to serve as a creative outlet for all NYU students. TNT has established itself as an avenue for students to work in all facets of the theatre: performance, management, direction, production, and other technical and design aspects. Tisch New Theatre is committed to developing ambitious work intended to entertain, inspire, and unite the artistic efforts of the Tisch Community with the entire student body.
The General Manager oversees all financial aspects of the production. The General Manager is responsible for contracts, overseeing ticket sales, rehearsal space, and the budgeting of the production.
Production Management oversees technical elements, and coordinates the work of different departments. Production Management is also tasked with hiring and scheduling crew members, scheduling load-in and strike, and managing bids from rental companies.
Stage management is responsible for facilitating auditions, rehearsals, tech, and performances. The Stage Management team prepares the production for performance, and is responsible for maintaining the creative vision of the show during its run.
