AUDITION FOR FALL 2025

This fall, TNT will produce a concert which directly responds to our political moment, utilizing selections from the musical theatre canon and beyond to revolve around the central theme 'Songs of Protest/Songs for the White House'.

All NYU Undergraduate Students are Encouraged to Audition.

TO AUDITION FOR TNT'S FALL 2025 PRODUCTION, PLEASE SUBMIT VIDEOS WITH ALL THE FOLLOWING:

A 1-minute cut of a musical theatre piece that captures how you feel living in America right now;
A 1-minute cut of a contrasting musical theatre piece

AND

A 30-second response to one of the following prompts:

Explain your first song selection.

OR

In our current world, how do you find hope?

AND

A 30 second movement piece. We are not looking for professional choreography, we just want to see you move!

OPTIONAL: If you can play any instruments and would like to share, please include a 30 second clip of any song that exemplifies your instrumental skills


DEADLINE TO AUDITION: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5TH, 11:59PM

Production Timeline

Callbacks: Saturday, September 13th
First Rehearsal: Friday, September 19th
Rehearsals: Tuesday-Friday 7-10pm, Saturdays 11-5pm or 12-6pm [will be decided by callbacks] | Rehearsal calls are determined by performers’ received roles

Tentative Show Dates:

Week of November 3rd, Show Dates: November 7th, 8th, 9th

AND/OR

Week of November 10th, Show Dates: November 14th, 15th, 16th
